GUCCI SHOW FALL WINTER 2016-17

Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2016/17 collection is like a collage composed of images, trends and a historical figure: 70’s sport, 80’s Italian and French couture, Trouble Andrew’s urban graffiti art, Catherine de’ Medici.

Alessandro Michele, who presented his first Gucci collection only a year ago, is one of the most successful young designers. He loves to mix and blend fashion in a disorderly and heterogeneous way. In Gucci’s new collection, Michele brings the noblewomen painted by Bronzino to New York’s seedy neighbourhoods, then to Parisian couture ateliers and in the end to Rome at the end of the 70s.

Multi-media artist Trouble Andrew, aka Gucci Ghost, customized some of the collection’s accessories and pieces by spray-painting Life is (GG) and Real (Gucci.
