My haute couture week in Paris began with the show of one of my three favourite haute couture designers: Georges Hobeika. His collections are always a highlight in the world of haute couture. His magnificent dresses reflect elegance and grace.
The light lavishes its mysterious effect on captivating and sensual dresses. Its rays refract throughout the collection in a thousand joyful, bright and fresh shades: pink, blue, yellow, greige, silver and white.
Its iridescence animates luxurious crepe and silks chiffon fairy tales on which pearls, sequins and crystals shine in a bright contrast. Its brightness subtly interacts with the evanescence of a mini-cape or a long train which gracefully billows behind.
