RUINART AT ART BASEL 2015

VERTIGO had the honour to attend two exclusive Ruinart events at Art Basel 2015, the world’s most important art fair. Ruinart was once again the official champagne partner at the Art Basel Show. The prestigious champagne house presented the Glass Calendar by Hubert Le Gall in its VIP lounge.

Year after year, Ruinart expresses its commitment to art through participating in leading international art fairs and working with well-known artists who create their vision of the House. This year’s artist, Hubert le Gall tells the story of Ruinart paying tribute to the origins in the vineyards of Champagne and to the passage of time. Time marked by the rhythm of the seasons and the work of man, through a series of 12 sculptures that each represents a month of the year.

For the new limited edition of the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Hubert Le Gall dresses the giftbox with golden fine upstrokes and wide downstrokes flowing over the immaculate whiteness of the coffret.

Curious to know more about Ruinart, Hubert Le Gall and Ruinart CEO Frédéric Dufour? Don’t miss VERTIGO’s next exclusive issue.

Every year, as the Official Champagne Partner for Art Basel, Ruinart dedicates its VIP lounge to a specific artist. This year, Ruinart joined forces with a French artist and scenographer, Hubert le Gall.
