Sofia Vergara, the world’s highest-paid TV actress, is the new face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Devotion Bag ad campaign. 5 percent of the sale price of the iconic bag will be donated to Dolce & Gabbana’s Amore For Scientific Research project which was launched with Humanitas University to aid their critical global health initiatives. Since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, Italian luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana has been providing financial support to Humanitas, a private Italian university conducting research into Covid-19.

In the new ad campaign, the Colombian actress, 48, wears a series of eye-catching dresses, including a leopard print dress and a romantic floral print dress. She complements her glamorous look with several bags of the Devotion collection.

The Devotion shoulder bag combines elegance and functionality. Spacious and lightweight and made of braided nappa chevron, a special process done entirely by hand by experts. The braiding features a diagonal design, the exclusive bejeweled heart fastening and the shoulder strap inspired by the techniques of fine jewelry.

An ode to movement, Nectar d’Issey Première Fleur is a ballet of flowers, where these beauties open, close and curl up in their sleep. The new fragrance by Issey Miyake is inspired by Nyctinasty, the movement of plants in response to the passage of the day.

When Nectar d’Issey was first created in 2018, a lightly fruity version was available. The new version Nectar d’Issey Première Fleur, created by French master perfumers Dominique Ropion and Fanny Bal, reveals Asian pear and an accord of aqueous fruits like watermelon in its top notes. An ode to florality, the middle notes magnify the freshness of the peony accord and the opulence of the jasmine. The soft, round base notes combine smooth sandalwood with the cottony sweetness of white musk.

Fusion d’Issey is an homage to the natural and physical phenomena of the Earth, its majestic volcanos, its immutable miracle of nature and the grandeur of its endless landscapes.

French master Perfumer Nathalie Lorson composed Fusion d’Issey, a fougère for men with solar and mineral notes. A play on contrasts between the cold and the heat of warming spices.

For the cool aspect, the sparkling brightness of lemon is paired with the milky sweetness of coconut water, a long-lasting solar scent. Essence of fresh rosemary, geranium, and cardamom (both cool and blazing) dissipate, filling the surroundings with their trailing scent. Underlying the notion of fusion is the choice of warm, volcanic wood featuring patchouli.
