“What if Women Ruled the World?” A committed question raised by Judy Chicago, a founder of American feminist art, became the driving inspiration for the new Dior haute couture collection.
Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri drew inspiration from classical representations of goddesses, such as Athena. Her majestic allure is a neo-platonic allegory of beauty, magnified by iconic works such as the Winged Victory of Samothrace and Primavera by Sandro Botticelli.

Daniel Roseberry, who joined the house of Schiaparelli only six months ago, focused on the double fantasy of the multi-faceted Elsa Schiaparelli. He contrasted her inventive but pragmatic daytime outfits with the incredible Surrealist parties that she used to throw in Paris.
