REVLON ULTRA HD GEL LIPCOLOR REVIEW
This year, many international cosmetics brands are launching matte lipsticks. But I’ve always preferred shiny lipsticks in vibrant colors. That’s why I was really looking forward to testing the new Revlon lipstick. I was extremely satisfied with the result for five reasons.
I’m always wearing a vibrant lip color. It makes my eyes glow. Moreover, it’s a beautiful contrast to my long dark hair. The Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor is available in 15 high-definition colors. My favourite ones are 745 Rhubarb, 750 Lava and 725 Sunset.
700 Sand is nearly invisible and a typical Jennifer Lopez nude. 705 Dawn and 710 Desert are beautiful lip colors with a natural rose tone.
The Revlon Ultra HD Gel doesn’t dry out my lips, not even after five hours. The advanced formula with hyaluronic acid delivers a boost of hydration. The lips feel smooth and moisturized
I’ve been testing 745 Rhubarb for a few days. I always used a lip brush for a precise application. I usually applied it a 7 am before going to work. I drank a lot of mineral water and two cups of coffee and ate a big sandwich in the morning. I didn’t have to reapply any lip color. At midday, the color had hardly faded (only a little bit in the middle of the lips). At about 2 o’clock, I reapplied a little bit of color and corrected the contours of my upper lips with a brush. That was it. The lips looked simply perfect for the rest of the afteroon. The secret is in the formula: vibrant color pigments are suspended in a gel base that drenches lips in high definition, lightweight color.
Some colors like 745 Rhubarb are more pigmented than others. The lighter shades will not last a whole day on your lips.
The lip color smells lovely when you apply it. The color glides on beautifully and gives you a silky finish with a little bit of shine. It’s very lightweight and not sticky at all.
In Switzerland, the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor costs 19.90 Swiss francs. You get an excellent product for this price. Please note that in Switzerland, only eight colors are available: Sand, Dawn, Desert, Pink Cloud, Rhubarb, Lava, Vineyard and Twilight.
