At Baselworld 2016, I discovered the magic circus world at the stand of Ole Lynggaard, the world-famous luxury jewellery house based in Copenhagen, Denmark. I loved the elegant playfulness of this year’s circus-spirited brand campaign and the beautifully arranged display of their various jewellery collections.
VERTIGO will present the most beautiful pieces of Ole Lynggaard’s 2016 collection in one of the next articles. Let’s focus on the Garden of Eden and one of my favourite permanent collections: The Snake Collection. It was created to celebrate Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen’s 50th anniversary in 2013. It was a tribute to Ole Lynggaard’s first sensual snake jewellery, created in 1969, inspired by the glittering treasures he had been fascinated by at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo some years earlier.
Snakes is available as rings, earrings, interchangeable, spot and pendant in 18-karat gold and white gold. Some pieces are embellished with diamonds and tourmaline drops for a more exclusive and extravagant look.
