BARACK OBAMA PHOTO EXHIBITION

Museum THE KENNEDYS in Berlin is showing Obama: An Intimate Portrait. The Presidency in Photographs by Pete Souza, the first exhibition on the Obama presidency in Germany. It includes 65 photographs of Pete Souza, the former Chief White House Photographer (2009–2017).

On Sunday, 15 April 2018, Pete Souza will offer an exclusive guided tour of his exhibition at the Museum THE KENNEDYS. It will start at 3 p.m.

The exhibition has been extended until 29 April 2018. If you are planning to visit the exhibition, I highly recommend that you also visit the Helmut Newton Foundation in the same district.

BARACK OBAMA PHOTO EXHIBITION

The term of the 44th President of the United States only ended on 20 January 2018. And yet, it already seems very much in the past; partly due to the overwhelming presence of his successor, Donald Trump, who is beginning to invert Obama’s political legacy. According to political scientists, Trump’s election marks a turning point in the political culture of the United States and, like no other event, signifies the deep ideological and economic division of the American society.
