ARABIC BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN DUBAI

A stylish boutique hotel that celebrates Arabian hospitality with an extremely friendly and efficient front desk and concierge staff. The Manzil Downtown Dubai is a hotel I would definitely recommend to fashionistas, business people, families and leisure travellers who prefer the intimate atmosphere and the coziness of a small design hotel to a skyscraper hotel with hundreds or even thousands of rooms. Curious to discover it? Check out the top 10 secrets of my stay at this exclusive Arabic boutique hotel in Dubai.

(Above) A subtle Arabic scent permeates through the lobby of the Manzil Downtown. The front desk staff and the concierge staff are very friendly. If you have any questions about the Burj Khalifa tickets, which you can buy at the concierge desk, public transport or taxis, I strongly recommend Nurwan. He’s very efficient and helpful.

ARABIC BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN DUBAI

(Above) I love The Courtyard, which reminds me of Andalusia. A great place to have a drink with friends or business partners. It also serves cuisines from the wider Middle East.

(Above) The upscale lifestyle boutique hotel opened in January 2015. It features 197 rooms and is managed by Vida Hotels and Resorts. They also manage the 4-star hotel Vida Downtown in Dubai. Designed for the culturally attuned and socially networked, the Manzil Downtown Hotel is located centrally on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Overlooking Souk Al Bahar, the hotel is in walking distance to Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and The Dubai Mall, the world’s biggest shopping mall. Here you can shop till you drop.

A DELUXE ROOM WITH A VIEW OF THE BURJ KHALIFA

(Above) During my stay at the Manzil Downtown Dubai at the end of May 2017, I booked a Deluxe Burj View Room. I particularly liked the extremely comfortable bed and the duvet, which is similar to the ones we have in Switzerland. I slept like a baby. The room also features a 42 inch LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi as well as tea and coffee facilities.

(Above) The deluxe rooms also feature a big bathroom with a shower, a bathtub and a toilet. I particularly liked the body care products by Lorenzo Villoresi, a pefumer from Florence, Italy.

(Above) Summer is very hot in Dubai. The perfect solution? Take a swim in the outdoor swimming pool to cool off.

(Above) Breakfast is served at the Boulevard Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant that serves food from across the Middle East. You have a vast choice for breakfast. My omelette with ham and vegetables was prepared in an open plan kitchen. Moreover, I had a cappuccino, fresh grapefruit juice, wholemeal bread rolls with butter and honey, fresh fruit and some Indian hot food. Guests with a sweet tooth can choose from a variety of delicious pastries.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Manzil Downtown Dubai and definitely recommend it to our international readers. It combines the region’s cultural ethos with the convenience and comfort of modernity. It also aims to connect with the new generation of global travellers, especially local Emirati and GCC guests. Europeans who have the intention to travel to Dubai you should avoid the summer months June, July and August because of the big heat waves.
