I had the honour to have lunch with French artist Marc Ferrero at a press event in Zurich (Switzerland) on 5 October 2017. Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has just started a collaboration with the painter by showcasing his paintings in the Hublot boutique in Zurich as well as in the Hublot suite and the event rooms of the Hotel Atlantis by Giardino. Future projects of the new collaboration are still top secret. That’s why journalists have to limit themselves to the news: Hublot teams up with artist Marc Ferrero.
Marc Ferrero’s universe is like a US movie: inspired by comics, television series, movies of the 70s and his travels. Creator of the Storytelling Art, Marc mixes the abstract and narrative expression. He combines centred plans, a harmony of colours and overlapping images that compose stages of a graphic novel. His stories with characters rich in colours take us in their adventures between Monaco and New York.
