I didn’t even apply a day cream afterwards, only sunscreen and a foundation. The serum, which has a luxurious white texture, is a good base for any foundation. It doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines.

IS MOUNIR HAIR COLOUR WORTH THE HYPE?
Mounir, a Lebanese hair stylist based in Beirut, has taken Youtube by storm with his crazy hair transformation videos, in which he changes the cut and especially the hair colour of his clients by adding the most colourful shades.
Mounir and his staff also give masterclasses all over the world to teach hairdressers how to use their coloring products. But how good are Mounir products? And how does it come that not many hairdressers collaborate with him?
I tested Mounir’s hair coloring products a few times in Bülach, Switzerland. The hairdresser, who specialized in extensions, has a great Instagram account, but she only posts pictures of young influencers with whom she collaborates regularly. In my case, the shade 5 looks very natural, but unfortunately, it doesn’t cover grey hair like professional products from Wella, Schwartzopf or Biosthétique. After only 10 (!) days, I couldn’t part my hair in the middle anymore because I could see the grey hair. I also tested the colouring with the Mounir shaker. The hair looks shiny afterwards, but once you wash your hair, the shine is gone. Olaplex is much better.
I would recommend Mounir only to young people who don’t have any grey hair. Otherwise, it’s not worth it. I recently spoke to a Wella colorist master who told me she had used Mounir’s products for about two years but that she had stopped using them because they don’t cover grey hair as well as Wella and because they’re too expensive. “With Wella, you get the better coloring results,” she said.
