SHISEIDO SPRING 2015 MAKEUP

I’ve just received the first products of Shiseido’s Spring/Summer 2015 make-up collection. The colours are really beautiful, especially the four new Shimmering Cream Eye Colors in GR125 Naiad, PK224 Mousseline, VI226 Lavande, and BR727 Fog.

I’ve tested Shiseido’s new lipstick Carnevale RD506. It has a soft and delicate shine. It moisturizes your lips perfectly well for hours. There’s no need to apply a lip balm first. The red colour with some sparkling is beautiful. It’s perfect for women who don’t want a very intense red.

Dick Page, Shiseido Makeup Artistic Director, describes the new beauty look as “softness and translucency”. “The eyes are gently defined in gentle contrasting shades of Shimmering Cream Eye Color and the lips glow with the naturally beautiful finish of Veiled Rouge.”

Chinese topmodel Sui He (25) looks amazing in Shiseido’s 2015 beauty ad campaign. She’s wearing Shimmering Cream Eye Color in Fog BR727, Veiled Rouge Lipstick in Mischief RD707, Luminizing Satin Face Color (Blush) in Starfish OR308.

Sui He is a very busy model: Last week, she hit the catwalk for the Victoria’s Secret Show 2014 in London.

Fog is a whisp of silvery grey, a shady, hazy cloud. I prefer to apply the colour with a brush (and not with the fingers).
