NEW SHIMMER GEL GLOSS
Shine like a star! Unlike traditional glosses that use heavy oils and waxes as a base, this breakthrough formula features a unique dual gel complex for the perfect combination of comfort and mirror-like shine. Weightless and non-sticky, this ultra-sensorial gloss infused with shea butter instantly hydrates and provides 12 hours of lasting moisture. Reflective pearls and highly refractive oils deliver a crystalline finish that won’t feather or bleed.
The unique shades and the multidimensional finish were inspired by ukiyo-e (traditional woodblock prints that were one of Japan’s first forms of pop culture) and modern Japanese artists like Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Ikko Tanaka, and photographer Daido Moriyama.
Wear this transparent gloss alone or layer it over any Shiseido lipstick to instantly boost color and shine. The specially treated pearls provide a duo-chrome effect. To add warmth, reach for Kogane Gold. Use Hakka Mint to amplify cooler tones and create the appearance of whiter, brighter teeth.
MODERN MATTE POWDER LIPSTICK
Shiseido’s Modern Matte Powder Lipstick features spherical pigments suspended in an ultra-clear silicone base that blur any imperfections and provide spectacular color payoff. It’s almost like airbrushing your lips, but with the convenience and seamless glide of a stick. Unlike most matte lip products, this formula offers the comfort of a balm by melting and transforming into an ultra-thin powder that envelops lips in creamy, opaque color. The custom, angular bullet not only reflects Japan’s modern approach to architecture, but the square shape provides extreme precision and control.
The latest seven shades are a vibrant and sensual expression of Tokyo’s nightlife. From karaoke bar-inspired names like Sound Check and Torch Song to Bubble Era, an electric pink emblematic of Japan in the late ’80s and early ’90s, when shoulder pads and big hair ruled the night, these high-impact shades explore a more unexpected side of Japan.
