For Spring and Summer 2017, Lebanese haute couture designer takes us into a world full of movement and vitality, underwater. He invites us to travel, from the depths of the ocean up to the sparkling reflections of its waves. This aquatic symphony is expressed by ebbing and flowing streams of perennial lace and whirlwinds of evocative motifs, where nature seems to play its magical partition while dreams and wonder flourish.
In this this kingdom of calm and peace, beautiful transformations occur over long flowing dresses and over tunics with dynamic lines, where life blooms on coral reefs and mysterious plants. Here, evolution is ongoing and seems to spring off surfaces in a multitude of iridescent droplets shining like mother of pearl shells. A myriad of embroideries, crystals and pearls represent the horizon that sits atop the blue sea illuminated by rays of descending light.
A multitude of colours evokes rich fauna and aquatic flora in gradient turquoise, emerald green and shades of pink or orange, while moonlight is mirrored on the waters. A bestiary abounding in light crafts poetry along bustiers in the form of majestic creatures that call the ocean home. Studded accessories also play their bucolic score in this natural symphony that is full of flowing nuances and emotion.
