For Tom Ford, he’s the perfect man and an inspiring muse: Jon Kortajarena. The 34-year old Spaniard is one of the ten most successful international male models of all times. He has appeared in numerous ad campaigns for Tom Ford, Calvin Klein, Versace, Just Cavalli, Guess, Karl Lagerfeld, Zara, Bulgari, H&M. He also hit the runway for Chanel, Dolce&Gabbana, Emporio Armani, John Galliano, Roberto Cavalli, Desigual, Custo and many more.
Tom Ford not only launched Jon’s international model career on a top level, but also his film career. In 2009, Jon starred in Tom Ford’s movie A Single Man.
In an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, Jon said: “Tom Ford is the fashion designer I feel most attached to. He positioned me as a model. I worked for him for 12 seasons. He taught me how to wear suits and clothes and how to walk on the runway. I learnt from him how to handle masculinity. He also launched me as an actor in his film A Single Man.“
